Purpose      To set forth the policies and procedures on the conduct of the Inter-University Cheerleading Competition (IUCC).
Implementing Guidelines       1. The President on behalf of the Board selects an institution as host of the Inter-University
Cheerleading Competition.
  2. The date, venue and the fees to be charged to participating teams are decided by the
Secretariat in consultation the with host institution.
  3. The purpose of IUCC are indicated below:
(a) To strengthen the relationship between AUAP and its members by promoting peace,
cultural diversities and different educational philosophies.
(b) To serve as a platform through the development of cheerleading skills, leadership,
and teamwork which will be vital to members of the community in the future.
  4. The IUCC is conducted based on an approved format as follows:
1. Members in good standing of AUAP are encouraged to participate in this event.
2. Member institutions nominating their students must be
(a) an active member (i.e. has paid membership fees for the last two years),
(b) or a new member,
(c) each member institution can nominate one team (12-15 students) to represent their
(d) the institution must submit a brief introduction of their team,
(e) submit a photo of the team.
3. The responsibilities of participating members are as follows:
(a) pay the international and domestic air tickets, personal expenses and insurance
of their team during their stay.
4. Other details:
(a) Supervisor: To be specified by the host
(b) Organizer: Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) and
the host member
(c) Co-organizer: To be specified by AUAP and the host member
(d) Sponsor: To be invited by the host member
(e) Venue: To be announced by AUAP
5. Registration:
1. Fill the registration form on the AUAP website.
2. The registration deadline is to be announced by AUAP. Late registration will NOT be
3. The Host will cover the accommodation, meals, local transportation, tours, pick up
and send off from and to the airport.
